Foreclosures Up Across the Board in November
Foreclosures hit their highest level of the year so far in November, with 120,334 new foreclosure filings reported nationwide during the month, according to the RealtyTrac U.S. The report shows increases in all three phases of the foreclosure process — default, auction and bank repossession. Urban Farming has been doing this around the country since it was founded in 2005. The properties where the farms are located are left available for sale, but in the meantime the properties are being productive and cared for by group volunteers.
