Given that fact, it is no surprise that two out of those four metros also documented some of the highest foreclosure rates in the country for all of 2006. Seven out of the 10 riskiest housing markets in the nation for home price deflation over the next two years are located in California, according to the Winter 2007 PMI U.S.

    The Los Angeles Times reported today that McMahon is being sued by Westmoore Lending of Huntington Beach, Calif., to collect on a $250,000 loan it made to McMahon in 2006. Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit alleges that loan documents show McMahon had committed to paying $3,125 a month for the first five months and then paying off the remainder of the loan in one final payment of $253,125.
