U.S. Foreclosure Activity Surges in First Quarter
foreclosure activity in the first quarter of 2007 was up 35 percent from the first quarter of 2006, according to the RealtyTrac U.S. Colorado and Georgia rounded out the top three state foreclosure rates, followed by Michigan, California, Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Texas and New Jersey. Other cities with foreclosure rates among the top 10 included Las Vegas, Riverside-San Bernardino, Calif., U.S. Foreclosure Market Report released today.

It was the usual suspects topping the 2007 MSA Foreclosure Rate Rankings released by RealtyTrac today. Top Metro Foreclosure Rates
Fifteen of the cities with the top 25 metro foreclosure rates in the first half of 2007 were located in California, Florida and Ohio, according to the R ealtyTrac Midyear 2007 Metropolitan Foreclosure Report , released yesterday.
