  • Foreclosure Filings Soar 90 Percent
    A growing number of American homeowners across the country are getting foreclosure notices, according to new data released this week by RealtyTrac. Top 10 Foreclosure Total Ranked by the number of foreclosure filings, California topped the list, with 39,659 in May, and Florida was number two, with 21,704, according to RealtyTrac’s report.   • Housing glut gives foreclosure buyers and investors advantage
    Fueling the latest concerns is a deluge of discouraging data in the housing sector. The biggest declines were in Florida-Sarasota-Bradenton (down 18 percent), Palm Bay-Melbourne (17 percent) and Cape Coral-Fort Myers (12 percent).
