Foreclosure Filings Soar 90 Percent
foreclosure filings surged 90 percent in May from a year earlier as more homeowners fell behind on their monthly mortgage payments, reported RealtyTrac . There were 176,137 foreclosure filings in May, up 19 percent from April. The Associated Press is reporting that actor Dustin Diamond from televisions "Saved by the Bell" is selling T-shirts to help bail his home out of foreclosure. Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit alleges that loan documents show McMahon had committed to paying $3,125 a month for the first five months and then paying off the remainder of the loan in one final payment of $253,125.
