RealtyTrac’s monthly foreclosure report shows 112,210 properties entering some stage of foreclosure during September, a decrease of less than 1 percent from August but an increase of more than 63 percent from September 2005. Colorado, Nevada and Michigan posted the highest state foreclosure rates, and California reported the most foreclosure activity of any state in terms of sheer numbers.
